Designed and under construction to provide integrated support services and facilities to the highly specialized needs of the Oil and Gas industry in Ghana and the West African Sub-Region
Takoradi Logistics Platform is currently under construction on a 30 acre stretch at Funko (East Apowa), Takoradi in the Western Region.
The platform is the combined vision of the Ghana Shippers' Authority (GSA), Houston-based Consolidated Investors and its partners Takoradi Steel Company and US metal fabrication giant NCI Group also headquartered in Houston, Texas. This upstream oil and gas logistics solution center is envisioned to be constructed in two (2) independent concurrent phases over five years with an estimated combined cost between $38 to $52 million USD.
Phase I
This phase of the project is structured to immediately provide oil and gas exploration, production and services firms with industrial warehousing space for storage and other services-related efforts. TLP is expected to complete 40,000 sq.ft. of enclosed and fully functional facilities by year's end. This will also include 1,200 sq.ft. of office space and 40,000 sq.ft. of pipe racking and inspection platform.
Phase II
Residential and Commercial Facilities with an additional 80,000 sq.ft of warehouses and 200,000 sq.ft of laydown area.
